Cancellation & Refund Policy
Please read our policies carefully before booking. These terms ensure a fair process for both our travelers and service partners. Northeast India's travel regulations apply.
1. Tour Package Cancellation
1.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via registered email or official messaging channel of Trionova Journeys. Verbal cancellations shall not be accepted.
1.2 The effective date of cancellation shall be the date on which the written request is received by the Travel Agency.
1.3 Cancellation Charges (Total Tour Cost):
1.4 No refund shall be applicable for any unused services, including but not limited to accommodation, meals, sightseeing, or transportation.
2. Car Rental Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation of car rental bookings must be communicated in writing prior to the scheduled pickup time.
2.2 Charge Schedule:
- 24h+ notice:Full refund (less processing charges).
- Less than 24h:50% Cancellation fee.
- No-show:100% Forfeited. No refund payable.
2.3 In the event of early termination or reduction of rental duration after commencement of the journey, no refund shall be granted for unused time or distance.
3. Refund Processing
3.1 Approved refunds, if any, shall be processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
3.2 Refunds shall be made through the original mode of payment only.
4. Force Majeure
4.1 The Travel Agency shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, political disturbances, pandemics, government restrictions, or adverse weather conditions.
4.2 In such cases, refunds (if any) shall be subject to the refund policies of hotels, airlines, transport providers, and other third-party service providers.
5. Non-Refundable Components
Government taxes, toll charges, parking fees, permits, fuel charges, entrance fees, and any services already utilized shall be non-refundable.
6. Right to Amend
The Travel Agency reserves the right to amend or modify this policy at any time without prior notice. The version in force at the time of booking shall apply.
7. Jurisdiction
All disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Guwahati, Assam, India.
